Bentley Guitar Studios Mark Bentley's Guitar Studio is Kansas City's best source for fine classical guitars and accessories. In addition, he also stocks many steel string and electric guitars. The web site describes in more detail the services offered.

Goodwin's Guitars. Also based in Kansas City, Goodwin's Guitars is a great source for good used classical guitars.

The Guitar Salon. A very good source for fine classical guitars, accessories, and sheet music. The site even includes a huge data base of teachers - locations as well as contact information..

Rosewood Guitar. Comprehensive source for classical guitars as well as music and supplies.

Books & Sheet Music

EncoreMusic. Guitar music, as well as music for other instruments. 

Guitarist's Forum. Guitarist's Forum has been the sole publisher of music by Charlie Byrd for 20 years. It is also a distributer of a great deal of other quality fingerstyle guitar music.

Guitar Solo Publications. The Guitar Solo catalogue contains hundreds of classical guitar solos, duets, anthologies, methods, studies, videos, CD, and accessories.

Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation . One of the world's largest publishers of sheet music, including a wide variety of guitar music.

Spanish Guitar Centre (a.k.a. Guitar Notes). Specializes in sheet music and books for classical guitar.

Strings

Strings by Mail. A very good selection of classical guitar strings and accessories at great prices. The service is consistently excellent.

Miscellaneous

Folkjam.org. At this site you can find acoustic music jam sessions in your area.

Guitar Foundation of America. The Guitar Foundation of America publishes the quarterly magazine "Soundboard". The website has a great deal of information and links for classical guitarists.

GuitarSite.com. More guitar related stuff than most of us could possibly absorb in one lifetime.

Kansas City Guitar Society. This is a great source for information on classical guitar events in the Kansas City area.

Michael Lucarelli. Michael is a fine guitarist from Salt Lake City, Utah. By the way, if you would like to hear some of the arrangements from "Beatles for Classical Guitar", his CD, "Michael Lucarelli Play the Beatles" includes several of them.

Village Music Academy. Village Music Academy (formerly The Toon Shop) is one of the largest music teaching facilities in the Kansas City area. The academy includes over 40 teachers on just about every orchestra instrument, guitar (all styles), and piano. I teach at the academy three days per week.
